By Car: Clearly marked from the Alnwick/Berwick A1. Ignore first sign Chillingham/North Charlton and take Chatton/Wooler road a few hundred yards north of Purdy Lodge/Bamburgh turn.  At night, follow signs at Chillingham Village to Wild Cattle/castle side entrance.  Clearly marked from the Newcastle/Wooler A697 (nearer to Wooler and also marked from Wooler). Short cut from Alnwick to Chatton, take Wooler road from Alnwick.

Parking: Enter through Main Gates. Free parking signed. Parking adjacent to Castle for the disabled.
 
By Air: Chillingham Castle is around 70 miles from both Newcastle and Edinburgh airports.
